The Caregiver's Journey was an emotional, sometimes tearful book for me to read. My mother is 92 years old and has dementia, so I found myself giving close attention to certain points given in this book. Chapter 77, for example . . . Laughing when it's necessary and sometimes when it's not, gives the reader some very important advice on the fact that laughing is good medicine, not only for the one receiving the care but for the one providing the care, as well. Each chapter has some very vital information a caregiver needs to know and understand. Dealing with emotions and decisions needed to be made, are only a few. If you are a caregiver, you really need to read this the book. It's advise and information can be so vital to you.
